QCWA # 38193
First Call: KF4EZX issued in 1995       Other Call(s): K2EZX

Hello, my name is Eric, and I hold the FCC amateur radio call sign of N4EZX. I currently live in Utah County, Utah. During my life, I have also lived in Dutchess County, New York, and Wake County, North Carolina.

I was originally licensed as a Technician in 1995 as KF4EZX in North Carolina, but changed to K2EZX in 1998. I relocated to Utah in 2002 and became mostly inactive. In 2010 I upgraded to General while home with a long-term disability (thank you, boredom), and became active once again. I relocated back to North Carolina in 2017 and became very active. I changed my call to N4EZX, in honor of my original call sign. I again moved to Utah in 2019.

In 2018 I started a business with my best friend, Richard N4AED. We created The Ham Badgers (hambadgers.com) to create name badges for ham radio operators. The Ham Badgers is the fastest growing badge maker in the US. In 2019 we were selected to be an official badge engraver for the ARRL. We currently sell to hams in every state through our web site as well as oru Etsy and eBay pages. We have two locations - Utah and North Carolina. We attend about 12 hamfests a year and have presences at swapmeets and meetings as well.

I am a member of the Utah Valley Amatuer Radio Club (uvarc.club) and the Quarter Century Wireless Association (qcwa.org). I was previously a member of the Johnston Amateur Radio Society (jars.net) in Johnston County, NC, and consider it my "club back home."

I am a volunteer examiner affiliated with the ARRL VEC and Laurel VEC groups.
