Kendall H. Pinion, N4KP, QCWA Chapter 91, Silent Key. "I am sad to report the death of my brother-in-law and fellow member of QCWA Chapter 91, Kendall Pinion N4KP."

Ken was raised in Roanoke Virginia and first licensed in 1956. He previously held the call K4JKK and was active in MARS and in CW traffic handling in southwest Virginia. Most of his professional career was spent in radio communications with the US Department of Agriculture. He died in Laurel Maryland on October 16 at the age of 79, after being ill for more than a year.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Kate Black, three sons, five grandchildren, and one uncle. Planning for arrangements has not yet been completed. Byron Black W4SSY, QCWA Chapter 91 President.
