DOD AUGUST 26, 2021 ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — WLOS lost one of its longtime family members. Norman Harrill died Thursday. Harrill was an engineer and spent much of his time at his office at the WLOS tower on top of Mount Pisgah. His job was to keep the station on the air, and he did it well. He retired in 2003.
