R.J. Goff passed away Sunday, September 14, 2003 in Lubbock, Tx. after a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 18, 2003 at St. Matthias Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at Rose-Neath's Southside Funeral Home.

R.J. Goff was born May 17, 1931 in Ft. Sam Houston, Tx. to Ira A., Sr. and Alice P. Goff. He was a graduate of Centenary College. R.J. was a professional engineer and retired from AT&T in Shreveport, La. Mr. Goff also served as Junior Warden of the Vestry of St. Matthias Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Della Goff.

Mr. Goff is survived by his daughters, Karen Eaker and husband Lloyd, Patricia Harper and husband Jeff; grandson, Matt Harper; granddaughters, Ashley Ducote and Della Eaker; great granddaughters, Emma Claire Ducote and Noelle Grace Ducote; brother, Thomas P. Goff; and sisters-in-law, Ina and Elece Goff.
