Born in Columbus, Ohio where there is a great deal of Amateur Radio history.
Beyond being holding an HAM ticket I also hold commercial radio license PG 43559+. My mother was an engineer in Columbus for Western Electric at the start of Vietnam. Her mother had worked in the 1940's at Western Union. Not sure how but it is said Paul Neill, inventor of the "N Connector" is a cousin.
The picture is me on the camera's right with Gordon West. I was a VE at many sessions and Gordon would often come over to entertain the line. With over 100 exam takers it was very educational on how to run an exam efficiently.
