I was first licensed in 1955 at age 17 as K8IAI.
I worked at Unisys, in Plymouth, MI, where I was a mfg. engineer. I retired from there in Dec. 2001.
I then worked for George Heron, N2APB, first making up kits such as DDS-30 and Atlanticon. Then I programmed the HC908 daughtercards, the 68HC908QY4s and others. Then I made up DDS-60, Rookey, PIC-EL, QuickieLab, IQ-VFO, Antenna Analyzer, NUE-PSK, and many other kits. I then built up DDS-60s, USB + RTCC cards, and TXPA cards.
I was married to Tom, W8KOX, for 52 years, until he became a SK on Nov.2nd, 2010. Together, we had six children, three boys and three girls.
I suffered a severe bilateral cerebellum stroke on Nov. 5th, 2011, which left me unable to speak and to walk.
