'C B' Johnson: Became an amateur radio operator in 1951 as a Novice in Sioux City, Iowa. Since that time I have had several other call signs, and my present call sign, NQ9C, will be my final one.

My main interests are in emergency and public service communications.

I operate mainly on the 2 m and 70 cm FM bands in the Phoenix and Flagstaff, Arizona areas. I also operate mobile on the 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 m SSB bands.

Memberships include ARRL and QCWA.
