First licensed in 1977 as WD4LXM (Novice) then KB4OMC, KI4VTL to the present with some periods of inactivity along the way. My oldest son and grandson are also licensed amateurs.

Currently using an IC-756PROIII, or FT-101ZD, The portable station is an IC-7000 using a BuddiStick tuning 40m through 10m. For HF mobile I use an IC-706MKIIG into an Outbacker Perth and a Kenwood TH-F6A for mobile/portable VHF/UHF. I recenty added an Icom ID800H and enjoy an occasional D-Star contact. Modest operations by any standard, thank you for listening closely.

I retired from Trans World Airlines several years ago and more recently retired from The Boeing Company and United Launch Alliance - Delta program. The picture above was taken a few hours prior to launch - a Delta II mission launched in October 2007.
