CURLING, Gordon Ralph (VE3KKL)
After many battles with serious health issues over the years, Gordie passed on May 15, 2021, in his 80th year, in hospital, with Shirley (nee Goth), his beloved wife of 60 years, and daughter at his side. Loving father of Jeff and Janice. Devoted Papa to Courtney and Gwyneth. Survived by his sister-in-law Edna Goyette (Andre) and Nancy Goth (the late John). Cherished Uncle Go-Go to his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and one great-great-nephew (with another on the way).
Adoring godfather to Sarah. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Helen (nee Phillips). Gordie was a member of the Radio Amateurs of Canada - his call sign being VE3KKL. He loved his racing days in Stittsville and was an avid NASCAR fan. He will be sadly missed by his extended relatives and friends. Due to COVID restrictions, a private family service and burial will take place at Capital Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
