NORMAN GREGORY LAWTON, UE Veteran of World War II Passed away peacefully at the age of ninety-three at the Community Nursing Home Pickering, Ontario, on February 14, 2014. He was predeceased by his loving wife Isabel (Elsie) (nee Johnson) and adored daughter Linda Ann Lawton. Norman was a devoted father to a loving son, Richard Gregory Lawton and his wife Carolyn Lawton of Gores Landing, Ontario.
He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Brendan Lawton, Roxanne Lawton-Smith, Alexis Lawton-Smith, Rosalyn Lawton, Trevor Lawton and great-grandchildren, Malerie, Amelia and Maxwell. He will be forever remembered by family and friends for his generosity, sense of adventure and devotion to family.
The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, Pickering Village, 905-428-8488), on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. and on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 11-1 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
