HUGH JOHN DOLLARD (VE7PB) born in Winnipeg 1919, died in Vancouver March 2, 2005.
Survived by wife Patricia; sons, Harrison, John and Chris and daughter Patricia; daughter-in-law Claudia and granddaughters, Jessica and Carmen.
Hugh served his country from 1939 to 1945 in the RCAF.
He was part of the original CJOB radio technical crew in Winnipeg after the war, where he also met Patricia - they were married in 1948.
Hugh was a consummate entrepreneur, and a great lover of technology, involved in the recording business in the 1950's and 1960's, and the 2-way radio business throughout the 1970's and 1980's.
As an amateur ham radio operator, Hugh developed countless friendships over his rich life.
