Graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1948.
Studied electrical engineering at Methodist Univ; received a degree in engineering and business from Univ. of Omaha; served two years in the Mayo Clinic biophysics dept.; design eng. for Waters Corp. in Rochester, Minn.
Founded Farrall Instruments in Grand Island. Received many awards for his designs of medical, agricultural and photographic equipment.
Inducted into the Grand Island Senior High Hall of Fame in 1983.
Moved to Pensacola, Fla. area in 1994.
Survived by his wife, Juanita; daughters, Debbie and Andrea and a son, Don; four grandchildren and a sister, Lianne Ryan.
