Bagley, Russell W., M.D. age 91, of Bloomington, MN passed away Nov. 4, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Jesse & Elizabeth; and sister, Priscilla Fleming. Survived by loving wife of 67 years, Marion; daughters, Barbara Jackson, MD and Melissa Chapman, DDS; grandchildren, Russell and Kyra Chapman. Russell received his medical degree from Tufts University Medical School. He served in the Navy in World War II and the Korean War. He practiced Anesthesiology at Abbott Northwestern Hospital for 31 years, being one of the founding members of the Northwest Anesthesia group. Skiing was a lifelong passion and he became a PSIA certified ski instructor and taught skiing at Hyland Hills Ski School for over 40 years. Memorials preferred to Abbott-North-western Foundation or Hillcrest United Methodist Church Foundation. Visitation 10-11 AM Sat., Nov. 15 with memorial service at 11 AM at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 9100 Russell Ave S., Bloomington.
