WØND Lynn A. Nelson Minot, ND QCWA # 29389 Chapter 102

Thanks for stopping by and looking me up. I got started in Amateur Radio at the age of 15 and my first call as a novice was WNØWBU from Grafton, North Dakota. After High School I attended the University of North Dakota (UND - Home of the Fighting Sioux) in Marketing Management. Have had the opportunity to travel all over the US and abroad in the Telecommunications industry, then retired at 57 to continue my hobbies. I have been active in Amateur Radio since I received my license in 1967 with the calls of WNØWBU, WAØWBU, WØCQ and now WØND. I enjoy all modes of the hobby and particularly love restoring old radio equipment. My collection is made up of Hammarlund, Hallicrafters, E.F. Johnson, Collins, Hygain, Central Electronics, WRL, National, Knight Kit, Lafyette, Drake, Heathkit, Kenwood and Icom. I am the ARRL Section Manager for North Dakota so if want to send me email concerning North Dakota ARRL questions or comments, please email me at w0nd@arrl.org. 73's from W-Zero-North Dakota (WØND)
