John L. Nafzinger, 84, of 605 East 10th, Hutchinson, Kansas, died October 24, 1991, at his home. He was born February 27, 1907, at Hutchinson, the son of John and Emma Jane Young Nafzinger. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, he was a car man for Santa Fe railroad for 46 years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hutchinson and was a shortwave-radio operator, using the call letters WØUFP for over 56 years. On February 2, 1927, he married Dorothy M. Hines at Hutchinson.
