Roy was the first real ham radio operator that I ever met. Seeing the racks of radio equipment in his basement was most impressive to a teenager with only a passing interest in electronics. Traveling in Roy's car while he operated 40 and 75 meters on his KWM-2 convinced me to become a ham and shorly there after Roy gave me the Novice exam. Thanks much Roy for giving my a lifetime of enjoyment in a truly wonderful and exciting hobby. So long old friend! 73, Tom W1CC
