Michael W. Ludkiewicz, 89, of Ludlow, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018. Born in Ludlow, MA in 1928, he was the son of the late Michael B. and Anna (Sunak) Ludkiewicz. He worked as a Quality Control Laboratory Analyst for the Monsanto Chemical Company for 45 years, retiring in 1992. Michael proudly served as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, serving from 1952-1954. He was an active amateur radio operator as W1DGJ for over 60 years. Michael was also an active member of the Model T Ford Club of America for many years and an avid license plate collector.
Michael is survived by his wife of 61 years Gloria (Picotte) Ludkiewicz of Ludlow and his two sons Michael W. Ludkiewicz Jr. of Ludlow and William R. Ludkiewicz of East Longmeadow.
Family and friends are asked to gather for Michaelâs funeral service on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:15 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by burial in the Mass.
