Milton E. Chaffee, WIEFW, first licensed 1932, General Class, State of Connecticut. Served during WWII the AACS involved in all phases of communications at airport, Naples, Italy, two years.
Milton is a former member of several local municipal committees and groups including town council, police commission and Chamber of Commerce.
Charter President, Southington Lions Club, 1942 and still an active member.
Served as New England Director, ARRL, 1957 - 1964 with membership on Executive and Finance Committees. Former treasurer, Pioneer Valley Radio Association operator of five 2-meter repeaters in Connecticut. Treasurer of Amateur Radio News Service, two terms. Founding President of Nutmeg Chapter # 149, QCWA.
Milton is married, with two adult children and two granddaughters.
