One of the nicest people I have ever met was W1HX. He and Tisha were the kind of folks you felt were more like family than friends. When NormĀ“s best friend Howie, W1HZ passed away it seemed he lost a lot of his stamina. Someone who loved ham radio throughout his life, I once worked him while on an impromtu DX-pedition to C6A. After returning home at 2:00 AM from the casino. There he was combing the low end of 20 meters - always the DXer. If we start cloning people we need some more Norms - but then again - he was one of a kind!
