Richard (Dick) Gates Bromley, lived in Lecanto, FL, (originally from Cranston, RI), was born on August 2, 1929 in Providence, Rhode Island. Richard passed away at age 88 on May 1, 2018 in Rhode Island after a short illness. He served in the Army in the Korean War 1950-1953 and also had a successful career as the Chief Radio Officer for the City of Cranston Police & Fire in RI for 33 years.
In 1988 he and his "true Love", wife, Eleine retired to Florida. He is also survived by his three children, Lorraine, Neil and Gayle, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. He had a passion for ham radio, computers, and sports. A beautiful life that came to an end, he died as he lived, everyone's friend. In our hearts, a memory will always be kept of one we loved and will never forget. The wake was private at the Woodlawn Funeral
