Irving Wolfe started out as 2APJ in New York City and was first licensed in 1923. He lived at 3 different addresses in the city. He joined QCWA in 1949 as member number 244. He was the oldest member of QCWA in our chapter(165).

He had moved around a few times and when he joined the chapter he was W5RQH and was living in Lancaster County at Salunga. He was a regular member of the Wednesday evening net. He apparently held other calls between the W2APJ and W5RQH he was not listed as either one of those calls in the 1959 Callbook. This joined date should be December 15, 1949 - Harry Gartsman was President 77 to 81
