Dunnellon - Mr. Frank, R. MacKinnis, 78, of Dunnellon, Fl died Thursday, July 10, 2008, in Ocala, Fl. Mr. MacKinnis was born August, 6, 1929 in Mt. Lebanon, PA.
He was a active member of the Rainbow Springs Village Church, A US Navy Veteran where he was a active Pilot, a life member of the Flying Med-shipman, a active ham radio operator, and Director of Purchasing for Purdue Poultry.

Survivors include his wife Jane T. MacKinnis of Dunnellon, Fl. sons Robert MacKinnis of Salisbury, Md., John "Mac" MacKinnis of Seaford, Del., Robert Turan of Chattanooga, Tn., and Andrew Turan of Van Cleave, Miss., daughters Kathy Kice of Sastrop, Tx., and Patty Bates of Memphis, Tn., sister, Susan Sutton of Lexington, Ky., and nine grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be Sunday 11:45 A,M, at the Rainbow Spring Village Church with Rev. Christopher Greaves officiating.
Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl. Friday 11:00 A.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rainbow Spring Village Church, 20222 SW 102nd St Rd, Dunnellon, Fl. 34431 in Memory of Mr. MacKinnis.
