Mr. Edmond S. Murphy passed away Monday, August 12th, 2013 at the age of 93.
He is survived by long-time friend, Jean McKnight. He had no immediate survivors.
Edmond was born December 5, 1919, in Fall River, MA, to Edward James Murphy and Harriet Slade Murphy. He went to work for Pan American Airlines, and later, when the war started, Pan-AM turned their planes into military planes, and Edmond joined the U.S. Army Air Corp.
His body will be cremated with a memorial service 10 a.m., Thursday, August 29th, in Memorial Presbyterian Church.
