JOSEPH V. HELLMANN SR. died on Friday, August 24, at the age of 92.
He was the beloved husband of Marie Louise Hellmann, loving father of Joseph V. Hellmann Jr., James Hellmann and Marie Louise Stine, cherished grandfather of Kenneth, James, Suzanne Robinson, Kathleen Mauceri, Joseph, Lorraine Murray, MaryBeth, Colleen, Raymond Stine and Aaron Stine, great-grandfather of Faith, Isabella, Justin, Kaydence, Abigail, Olivia and Harry and dear brother of the late Ted and John.
He was also a World War II Army veteran.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Monday, August 27, at St. Margaret Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.
