First Licensed in 1977 as WB3KRM, upgraded to Advanced and traded in my call for N3ABO, upgraded to Extra Class in 1992 and again traded in my call for WQ3M, a few years later I was able to choose a new call W3GD. I operate AM, SSB and ATV, (1.8 to 432MHz) and enjoy rag-chewing, (either one-on-one, round-table or fast break-in) service nets, hamfests, DXing, contesting and home-brewing.
