SYLVIA (nee Ratener) May 7, 2020, formerly of Atlantic City, NJ. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill), mother of Phyllis, Alan and Janet. Also 6 grand and 7 great-grand children.
She was a dental assistant for over 20 years and a member and active supporter of Melrose B'nai Israel Emanu-El Synagogue.
One of the first area women to obtain a FCC license as an amateur radio operator. An organizer of the Penn Jersey Yls (a Delaware Valley group of women radio amateurs), an ardent Mah Jong enthusiast and a major activist in creating a national Jewish Amateur Radio Association.
