Louis C. McCann, 82, Oley, died Sept. 9 at 1:15 a.m. of natural causes in his residence. He was the former husband of Mary Ellen (Clouser) McCann, Surf City, N.J. Born in Reading on June 11, 1924, he..... of Shillington High School. He was also a 1947 graduate of Albright College, where he received a bachelor of science degree. McCann attended Wharton Business School, Philadelphia. He was a member of the Old Buzzards Amateur Radio Club.
McCann is also survived by two sons, Jay D., husband of Katie McCann, Mount Penn; and Scott H. McCann, Blandon; and a daughter, Kathy (McCann) Evans, Oley.
Other survivors include four grandchildren: Corey, Libby, Mia and Allison.
He shared love and cherished memories with Betty Lou Graves, her children and grandchildren: Rosemary, Gail and Gary, Holly, Heather, Tony, Carrie, Michael and Courtney.
Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St., Oley. Burial will be at Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
