James Richard Parker - PASSED AWAY ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2018
Of Springfield, VA on September 10, at the age of 78.

Beloved husband of 51 and a half years to Charlene; also survived by sister-in-law Dee Parker and nieces Karen Gamble of Raleigh, NC and Judy Passadore of Portland, OR; and great niece and nephew Becky and John Gamble; as well as various cousins.

Jim retired from the Department of State as a Foreign Service officer after serving in the US Air Force. He was a Ham radio operator, W4EKB, for over 60 years, and a Shriner in the El Katif Temple in Spokane, WA.

A memorial service to celebrate James. life will be held on Saturday, September 22 at 10 am at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield.
