Billy Stricklin was born on November 21, 1918 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late William Ledford and Flora Franks Stricklin.
Mr. Stricklin was a veteran of the US Army and worked as an electrical engineer for TVA in Chattanooga, Tennessee for over 26 years.
He departed this life on March 7, 2006 at Hardin Home in Savannah at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 14 days.
Mr. Stricklin is survived by 3 brothers: Bobby Joe Stricklin of Florence, Alabama; O.C. Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee & George Stricklin of Cypress Inn, Tennessee; and 2 sisters: Inez Stricklin and Lorene Franks, both of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Henry Stricklin and 5 sisters: Betty Jean Stricklin, Pearl Hughes, Margaret Stricklin, Polly Franks and Gladys Robbins.
