BYRD, Billy L., retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt., 83, devoted husband and father; and BYRD, Kively, well known local artist, 85, devoted wife and mother, both peacefully passed into the arms of their heavenly Father January 2, 2011, after being together for 62 years.

Both are survived by their son, Darius "D.W.: Byrd, and a granddaughter, Meghan J. Byrd. Billy Byrd is survived by a sister, Joyce Fipps; a sister-in-law, Jean Byrd; and several nieces and nephews. Kively is also survived by a brother, Frixos Servetopoulou (Sandra), and two nephews. A memorial celebration of life service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 8, at St. Mary' s Episcopal Church. Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave., is in charge of arrangements.
