James Franklin Hull, age 90, of Bristol, TN. passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at Wellmont Bristol Regional Hospital.He was a ham operator and was a member of the Bristol Radio Club. He was the co-owner of Hull Company on West State Street for over sixty years. James served in the United States Army during WWII having served in the Battle of the Bulge. He was an active member of Anderson Street United Methodist Church.He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Katherine Hull, Edythe Hull and one brother, Leroy Hull, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marjorie Hull; daughter: Judy Wright and husband Wayne of Bristol, TN, one grandson, Philip Wright, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M.,Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Anderson Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Barbara Doyle officiating. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery with the Bristol VFW Honor Guard conducting Military Rites.Pallbearers will be great-nephews and the men of Anderson Street United Methodist Church.
