Winnsboro - Anthony "Pops" McLean, age 79 of Winnsboro, Texas passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 in Winnsboro. He was born on April 16, 1942 in San Francisco to the late Lucien Charles McLean and Dorothy Gaetani. Anthony was retired from the U.S. Army and a Vietnam Veteran. He was Past President of the In Country Vets M/C and a longtime member of the Amateur Radio Clubs in El Paso call signs W5ES and K5Wph. His call sign was W5AAM. He is survived by his sons, Lucien Charles McLean II, Anthony A. McLean Jr., David Preston McLean and his wife Aubrie; daughter, Sarah Michelle Clark and husband, Eric Clark; grandchildren, Nathan Clark, Emily Grace Clark and Abigail Leann Clark and brother, David Mihalik. Memorial Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro with Bro. Greg Hansen officiating.
