Olin Doyle Huff, 96, of Joshua, Texas, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015. He was born March 28, 1919, in Lockney, Texas, to Floyd Washington Huff and Madge Watson. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015, in the Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Jesse Johnson and Alvin Jennings. Visitation is from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment follows at Skyvue Memorial Park in Mansfield. Olin was an amateur radio operator and had a extra license. He was also a real estate broker. He served as mayor pro temp of Richland Hills. He spent most of his pro career as an insurance broker. He loved country living. He proudly served as a final inspector in the U.S. Marine Corps Aviation in San Diego. He received an MBA from West Texas A&M University in Canyon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Mission Hospice in Cleburne. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Lola Huff of Joshua; children, Dr. Patricia J. Cox of Springfield, Mo., and Charlotte A. Ertelt of Paris, Texas; step-children, Shirley Taylor of Burleson, Jimmy Eudy and wife, Carolyn, of Joshua, and Myra Law and husband, Sammy, of Burleson; and 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Glenn Degge; and wife of 60-plus years, Mildred Baber Huff.
