As you can see, I have a modest, yet well equipped HF Station. I'm most active on 40 Meters in the evenings. (I'm a huge fan of OMISS and the 3905 Century Club.
I have been licensed since 1985 when I was originally KB4QKU in Lexington, Kentucky. A few years later, I changed my call to N8KXA to reflect the fact that I was living in Ohio. Flash forward too many years, and I applied for the vanity call W3DMT (because I was living in PA at the time).
Then, I moved to Texas. So, not being overly creative, I changed it to W5DMT. Worse yet, now I live in Tennessee and refuse to give up my call. (And W4DMT is not available.)
Recently got the bug again, and have been semi-active on HF. I work Phone, CW, PSK-31 and a few other modes. Have 2M FM/SSB/CW capabilities here as well.
Main HF rig is a Tentec Jupiter with a Heil Gold Elite Mic, which pushes an Ameritron AL-80A Amplifier supplying around 800-1000 watts out, into a Hustler 6BTV, a sloper, that is mounted horizontally at 5 1/2 feet on a wood fence and has radials as well as a Off Center Fed Dipole, which is suspended from the roof of my house and drops down to the back fence,
I use the modified sloper mostly as a receive antenna and for NVIS work on 75M. Sometimes, you just need a low strung dipole so you can talk to your boys in Kentucky.

If you work me (especially on OMISS or 3905 Century Club), I will QSL 100%. Direct or through the Buros. Simply send a card and you'll get a card.
