Alan B. McClellan, 90, passed away Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: Open.
Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
Alan was born June 11, 1918, in Pennsylvania. His parents moved to Fort Worth when he was 12 years old. He attended Paschal High School and taught electronic engineering at Arlington State College. Alan worked for the FAA as an engineer for 36 years. He was a 32nd-degree Free Mason.
Alan was an amateur radio operator. He received his radio license in 1936 and W5FOA were his call letters.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital Emergency Room.
Survivors: Wife, Jerry Russey McClellan; son, William McClellan and wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Jan Randall and husband, Wallace; and three grandchildren.
