Wayne Earl Kelly went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 10, 2003.
He was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 13, 1928 and lived here most of his life. He graduated from Brackenridge High School, then joined the United States Air Force in order to serve his country.
After serving, he attended San Antonio College, married, and began a family. He retired from the City Public Service Board after 35 yrs; beginning as a draftsman and advancing in his career to the position of computer analyst.
He had many interests and was especially accomplished in woodworking, photography, painting and computer graphics. He was a past master at Triune Lodge.
He is survived by daughters, Linda Kelly and Barbara Kelly; son, Raymond Kelly and wife Susan; and granddaughters, Kelly Hinesley and Faith Hinesley. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Atkins and wife, Cynthia; and nephews, Daniel, Stewart, and Avery.
He was a brilliant, kind, generous, and loving man with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be lovingly remembered and keenly missed by his family and many friends.
