Herman Everett 'Tiny' Irwin was born in Snyder, TX Dec 10, 1916.
He married Ivah Helen White on Dec. 24, 1941. He served in the Army in WW II and Korea. After WW II, Herman and Helen moved to Del City where he was one of the first civilian employees at Tinker Air Force Base. He later worked for the FAA when it moved to Oklahoma City.
Helen preceded him in death on January 19, 1995. He married Leola Mallette on August 20, 1996. Herman is survived by his wife, Leola Irwin; daughters, Billye Johnson of Dallas, Karen McCullough of Los Alamos, NM, son in law, the Rev. Charles McCullough, and granddaughters Ginger Johnson, Sarah Springer, Grace McCullough and Joy McCullough; sister Hattie Boggess and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home in Del City on Saturday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m., with burial in Arlington Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association.
