Robert H. "Bob" Edward, 77, owner of Record-a-Call of Fort Worth, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at a local nursing home.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Officiating: the Rev. Terry Boggs, St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Robert Edward was born March 25, 1921, in Detroit, Mich. He was an amateur radio enthusiast for 60 years, a member of Roseville Masonic Lodge and the Fort Worth Scottish Rite.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Edward.
Survivors: Wife, Carol Edward of Fort Worth; mother, Elnora Kuhn of Detroit, Mich.; sister, Shirley Williams (George) of Detroit, Mich.; daughter, Sharron Edward of Fort Worth; sons, Robert Edward of Eagan, Minn., Christopher Edward of Fort Worth, Patrick Edward of Arlington, Peter Edward, Paul Edward and Tom Tucker, all of Detroit, Mich., and Dan Edward of Apple Valley, Minn.; beloved grandchildren, Stephen, Nicole, Kelsey, Meagan and Bailey, all of Texas, as well as others in the Michigan and Minnesota area; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
