Paul H. Pareseau, 100, of Mansfield, TX, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, followed by his beloved wife of 75 years, Mafalda E. (Elce) Pareseau, 98, of Mansfield, TX, who passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017.
Graveside Service: Paul and Mafalda will be laid to rest together in Moore Memorial Gardens on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 12:00 pm.
Paul was born in Worcester, MA, on January 22, 1917, to Joseph H. Pareseau and Marie Anne (Goulet) Pareseau.
Mafalda was born in Mendon, MA, on April 24, 1918, to Gerolomo Elce and Ersilia (Travaglini) Elce.
He was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy before working as a technical publications field engineer for Raytheon and later as a golf pro for the City of Arlington. He had a passion for golf, HAM radio, bowling and woodwork. Paul always had a ready wit and positive outlook on life.
She was a homemaker and had a passion for cooking, crafts and gardening. She was a loving and caring mother who was well known for her homemade pasta, banana bread and chocolate chip cookies. No one ever left her home hungry.
Together, Paul and Mafalda enjoyed being a part of Good Sam RV Club and loved to golf.
They are preceded in death by their parents and a son, Robert Pareseau.
Survivors: their children: Judith Pickett (husband Jim), Paula Holland (husband Reg) and Corinne Thomason (husband Ron); daughter-in-law Peggy Pareseau; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
