Francis B. Hacker, born September 4, 1937 in Pratt County Kansas, passed away January 29, 2011.
Preceded in death by, Wilbur F. Hacker (father), Theresa D. Hacker (mother), David & Jim Hacker (brothers), Janet Hacker (sister), Stephen J. Welden (oldest son). Francis is survived by his sisters, Alice Tujillo and Margaret Ring and their children and grandchildren; sons, Michael F. Welden, William L. Welden and his wife Lynn Welden and their 2 children Ashley and Colton.
Service will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 12:30 at Restland Funeral Home in the Wildwood Chapel.
Frank was an Electronics Technician with Texas Instruments for 33+ years before retiring. He was very active with the HAM Radio Club in Collin County. He was also involved with the Boy Scouts of America-Eagle Scout program.

W5RNF Frank Hacker of Plano Texas passed away in Plano Texas on January 29, 2011. Frank had been hospitalized a couple of times in the past years for various problems. Diabetes being one of the major problems, plus some other complications. Frank had operated the "Good Ol' Boys Group" on 7279 in the evening for many years, with guys checking in nightly with Frank and and the rest of the guys from all over the country. He was retired from Texas Instruments, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and of course, his ham radio operating with many friends.
Rest in peace, ol' friend!
