Duane U. Farris Mountain Home, AR QCWA # 13773 Chapter 38 |
Mr. Duane Udell Farris, age 97 of Mountain Home passed away Sunday evening in Mountain Home. He was born January 9, 1920 in Bellefonte, Arkansas to Hugh and Mayme (Eoff) Farris.
Mr. Farris was a long time member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Mountain Home and a member of the local Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Farris is survived by one son, Gregory Scott Farris of San Jose, California, two granddaughters, Nina Nicole Farris-Herrera (Gabe Herrera) and Jessica Lynn Farris (Matthew Herrera) and four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Layla, Gavin and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joy Farris, one son, Jerry Leon Farris, and one brother, Don Farris.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm, Friday, May 5, 2017 at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Mountain Home. Services will follow at 1:00 pm at the church with Reverend Michael Clark officiating. Burial will be private in the Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison, Arkansas. Please feel free to donate to a charity of choice in Duane's name.
