Jack A. Carterette, 80, of Fort Smith died Saturday, July 10, 2004 in Fort Smith. He was a local business owner/executive in the electronics industry. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Amateur Radio Association. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army as staff sergeant of the 68th Group Army Airways Communication Service.
He is survived by two sisters along with several nieces and nephews.
Mass was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial following at the US National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
