W5TGK 1925 - 2017 Daniel G. 'Dan' Robison Naples, TX QCWA # 15271 Chapter 54 First Call: W5TGK in 1946 Daniel Guinn Dan Robison, age 91, of Naples, Texas, was born to Morris Robison and Willie Clora Stringfellow Robison. Dan was a member at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples. He was a US Army Air Corps Veteran where he served as a tail gunner during WWII, and a US Air Force Veteran where he served as a radio operator during the Korean Conflict. Dan retired from the television broadcasting industry where he was an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years, a member of the East Texas Amateur Radio Association, a HAM Radio operator, and a recreational pilot. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Muggie Robison; one son, Daniel G. Robison, Jr.; and two brothers, Ted Robison and Vernon Robison.
