Minden, LA Funeral services for William S. "Billy" Watson will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Bro. Danny Warbington. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Billy was born October 16, 1933 in Arcadia, Louisiana and entered into rest February 24, 2014 in Minden, Louisiana. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a retired guard with Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant.
His daughter Carol Peery preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Watson of Minden, son Kenneth Watson of Minden, daughter Joyce Weems of Blanchard, six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert Horton, Dan Wolff, Danny Haynes, Gary Silas, Mike Carney, and Donnie McManus.
