John Butrovich III, 80, passed away April 13, 2013 in Corpus Christi. He was born January 1, 1933 in Fairbanks Alaska to Geraldine and George Butrovich. He was a U. S. Navy veteran serving 22 years and worked as an I & E Designer for over 30 years and was an Amateur Radio Operator. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, George Butrovich.
Survivors include his wife, Vernice Thomas of Orange Grove; two daughters, Catherine (Joe) Kuiken of Camarillo, Calif. and Linda Swearengin of Albertville, Ala.; two sons, John Daniel (Karen Gallardo) Butrovich of Woodland Hills, Calif. and Edward (Kris) Butrovich of Lakeside, Calif.; one sister, Susan Warshawsky of Bella Vista, Ark.; one brother, Richard (Mary) Butrovich of Claremore, Okla. and 11 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel.
