In 1980 Reg and Pat moved Appleton, Wisconsin to serve and work with the Church of Christ, as pulpit minister. As life progressed, Reg and Pat came home to New Mexico where he taught electronics and wood shop at Gadsden High School, Anthony, New Mexico. After nine years, he retired from teaching and became a Municipal Judge in Anthony, Texas. When finally retiring, they made their last move to the cool mountains of Cloudcroft, New Mexico in 1993. Reg served on the Twin Forks Water Board, five years as Chief and First Responder for the James Canyon Fire Department.

During his spare time, Reg enjoyed carving bear statues using a chainsaw.

Reg's passion was singing hymns and teaching the Word of God.
