Bolton, Sr. passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2004. He attended Langston University and later completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Mary's University, San Antonio, TX. He joined the Army and later the Air Force and retired in 1963 after serving 20 years. He had a long career with T.E.C. and retired in 1985. He is survived by three daughters, Pearlie Thomas (son-in-law, William Thomas), Sandra Gunter (son-in-law, Charles Gunter), Wanda Davis (son-in-law, Lee Davis); one son, David Bolton, Jr.; five grandchildren, Edward Davis, William David Thomas, Stephanie Collier, William Collier III and Lisa Gray as well as eight great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn many relatives and friends. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at 11:30 A.M. at Second Baptist Church, 3310 E. Commerce St. with Rev. Dr. Robert Jemerson officiating. Entombment in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Lewis Funeral Home.
