In 1948, Bill Jackson operated this station: from left, a Hallicrafters SX-28 receiver with matching speaker and an S-40A receiver. His transmitter (not shown) started with a 6F6 crystal oscillator and a 6V6 buffer, to a single 813 final with plug-in coils. Modulator was a pair of 811s operating in Class B.
