Frank Joseph Tavolacci, age 79 of Milford CT, beloved Husband of 33 years of the late Christine M. Tavolacci, dedicated Father of Richard F. Tavolacci of Virginia, Scott J Tavolacci of Connecticut and Christine E. Tavolacci of California, passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2012 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born August 27th, 1932 to the Late Frank J Tavolacci and Rose M. Perrelli. Frank was retired and formally a small business owner, that last of which was "Purchase East Hair Salon", in Port Chester New York. Frank Graduated high school in Bronx New York furthered his education at "The School of Industrial Art" in NYC and became a lifelong artist of oil paintings. Frank Served in the Navy during the Korean War on the USS Pittsburgh and was honorably discharged in March of 1953. Frank was a very determined, organized and trustworthy individual who with his faith in Jesus Christ and support of his family fought through many physical conditions, but still managed to live a long, active and prosperous life. In addition to his children, Frank is survived by five Grand Children Jonathan, Lindsay, Michael Tavolacci of Connecticut, and Sam and Andrew Tavolacci of Virginia. Frank is also survived by his sister Rose Marie Stabile of New York and 8 nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 16th at 10:00 am at the Cody-White Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford, CT. Friends and family may call on Sunday, April 16th from 4:00 8:00 pm at the Cody White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St. Milford, CT.
