MAJOR BILLY L. ANDERSON (Retired USAF) W6KPA Born December 13, 1916, in Chautauqua, Kansas, to Fred and Medalene Anderson, left this world for a home prepared for him in heaven on July 23, 2012. Bill is survived by his loving wife of almost 70 years, Dorothy, son Fred and daughter Linda Mattingly (Jay), 5 grandchildren, 15 great-grand-children and 1 great, great grandson, 2 sisters, Carlene Johnson and Jimmie Lu Boucher (Milford) along with many nieces and nephews.
Bill was an amateur radio operator (ham) for 65 years and a member of AASC, QCWA and ARRL.
Bill and his wife attended Magnolia Center Church of Christ for over 48 years. Bill spent over 26yrs in the military, from the Horse Calvary to Guided Missiles.
